(2018-01-31) New Installer for Prepar3D® v4.x. The X-15A-2 Special Edition v2.0 addon now includes a native version (labeled v2.01) for the new 64-bit Prepar3D® v4 simulation platform. This updated version contains 64-bit DLLs and new features including new special effects, a revised ignition system, an improved flight model and a revised 280-page utility flight manual. (2015-09-05) New Printable PDF Utility Flight Manual. By popular demand, we are happy to release a 270-page, printable PDF version of the X-15A-2 SE Utility Flight Manual. Users now have access to both the printable PDF manual and the online help system. Users can download the complete PDF manual by visiting our "Flight Manuals" section.
(2015-07-20) X-Plane® Version on Hold. Unfortunately, we won't be able to complete the X-Plane® version of our X-15A-2 SE addon, as previously announced. Development of the X-15A-2 SE for X-Plane® has been halted and the project is on hold until further notice.

Special effects appearance may vary from system to system, depending on many factors including your simulation platform, your version of DirectX®, your view aspect ratio and your graphics hardware and settings. If you are not satisfied with the effects on your system (for example, they are too small or too big), try replacing the special effect files. A special installer for Prepar3D® v4 is available from our "Downloads" section on our website. The update is free for registered users.
This updated version contains 64-bit DLLs and will not work in previous versions of Prepar3D® (nor in FSX).
What's new in v2.01 for Prepar3D® v4:
All other features are the same as in previous versions.
There is no special installer for Prepar3D® v3 available for this addon at this time. To install this addon in Prepar3D® v3, please use the installer for Prepar3D® v2 and change the path to your simulation platform during installation. The version for Prepar3D® v2 is compatible with Prepar3D® v3.
For optimized performance, we recommend upgrading your simulation platform to the 64-bit Prepar3D® v4.x and to use the installer for Prepar3D® v4.
