Cruise and Climb to Launch Altitude (Carrier)

Ram-air door, under the forward portion of the fuselage, aft the nose gear door.



On a real mission, during the cruise-climb to launch altitude, the pilot of the B-52 carrier starts the time-to-go sequence and confirms with the launch operator that the liquid oxygen top-off is satisfactory. The following procedures are performed at an altitude of between 35,000 to 45,000 feet:



Closing the Ram-Air Doors
