About this Online Manual

Xtreme Prototypes now offers online help systems (the present document) in addition to PDF flight manuals for some of its addons.

Online help systems offer much more features than PDF manuals, such as high-resolution images, interactive multimedia contents, hyperlinks, keywords, and a search engine, and they occupy less space than printed documents. In addition, online manuals are always up-to-date, so you are never left behind.

Online help systems can be viewed in your Internet browser on your desktop computer, laptop or tablet. Like many pilots in the real world, you can use your iPad®, Windows® or Android® tablet as an aviator kneeboard while flying the aircraft in the simulator.

The online help system for this addon contains the necessary information for the installation and operation of the X-15A-2 Special Edition. We believe the X-15A-2 SE online help system, which is based on the real X-15A-2 utility flight manual, is the most compelling, comprehensive and feature-rich manual we produced so far for one of our addons. It contains over 225 topics (which represents about 300 pages), 400 keywords, dozens of high-resolution images, and hundreds of hyperlinks, which you don't normally find in a manual for a similar product.

You can use the table of contents on the left to browse the different topics or search for phrases and keywords to get the information you want quickly. Keywords and hyperlinks are important features of online manuals that will help you navigate and find what you need:

Click the "Contents" tab for the table of contents. Click the individual topics in the table to navigate to the full content.

Click the "Index" tab for a list of keywords. Click the individual keywords to navigate to their corresponding topics.

Click the "Search" tab to search for words, phrases or topics. Click the topics in the search result to navigate to the full content.

There is no checklist and reference information in the aircraft kneeboard (available in the simulator). Everything is included in the documentation. Refer to "Quick Start Procedures" (checklist) and "Aircraft Reference Information".
