Shutdown Procedure

Engine shutdown.

To shut down the engine, proceed as follows:

• Retard throttle [12, fig. 5-4] to 50%: then move throttle outboard to OFF (right-click the throttle handle after it is moved to 50%).

• Engine prime switch [56, fig. 5-1] – STOP PRIME.

Throttle OFF.

After Engine Shutdown

1. Igniter idle switch [53, fig. 5-1] – Check OFF.

2. Engine prime switch [56, fig. 5-1] – STOP PRIME.

3. Engine precool switch [61, fig. 5-1] – OFF.

4. Engine master switch [63, fig. 5-1] – OFF.

5. Vent, pressurize, and jettison control lever [11, fig. 5-4] – VENT.
